Introducing the world's first full-frame mirrorless camera from Sony called the Alpha a7s -- revolutionizing the world's image-capturing technology...

Sony has just introduced its new camera variant called the Alpha a7s, which is deemed the world's first full-frame mirrorless 4K camera. It's a newfangled high-spec and pro-focused device that marks yet another notable technical achievement for the company.

Sony, in its most recent announcement said the Alpha a7s could transform how photographers, filmmakers and even some pros do their job.

Based on initial descriptions as disclosed by Sony itself, the new Alpha a7s is considered a special device primarily because it's a mirrorless unit, sometimes referred to as a micro four thirds.

It's somehow akin to a DSLR camera yet appears smaller due to the absence of the mirror schemed reflecting the view from the lens into the viewfinder.

Sony's a7s is by far the first camera that is capable to shoot 4K (QFHD 3840x2160 pixels) video. Sony has also made the space for a full-frame 12.2 MP Exmor CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processor on this new image device. The camera is also capable of feeding/relaying its recorded video to a different third-party video recorders that best suit for multi-angle video production, broadcast studio or multi-camera functions.

The new Sony a7s camera is expected to go on sale this July at a possible cost of $2,500 for the body. Lenses will be sold separately.
