Controversial, elusive commercial model Deniece Cornejo has finally submitted herself to the authorities of Camp Crame, today (Monday), May 5th, 2014.

Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesman Reuben Theodore Sindac said that Cornejo arrived at the office of PNP chief General Alan Purisima at around 4:00 P.M.

Cornejo is currently facing charges of serious illegal detention and grave of coercion, associated with the previous battering of TV host/actor Vhong Navarro. These cases are professedly not bail-able.

Cornejo was reproving Vhong Navarro of raping her, a reason she claimed as “ground” for Navarro to end up being beaten by the group of Cedric Lee, friends of Deniece.

That rape case filed by Cornejo against Navarro, however, has already been discarded by the Department of Justice.

Prior to this, Lee and another involved person named Simeon "Zimmer" Raz were arrested by the authorities at Oras, Eastern Samar.

The rest of the group members, including Jed Fernandez, JP Calma and Ferdinand Guerrero remained at large to date.
