Indiana Pacers takes Game 5 win away from Miami Heat, 93-90

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Pacers has just stole a critical victory from the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the NBA semis, halting the latter from securing the first slot of the 2014 NBA finals.


Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference was breathtaking, as both teams worked hard to keep the score gap close until the end.

During the first quarter of the game, Pacers outscored Heat with a 22-16 point mark. But the Heat immediately regained momentum in the second quarter and took the lead from the Pacers, 33-42. In the third quarter, Indiana has managed to seize the lead back at 64-57.

In in the last 15 seconds of the game, the match even got so intense as manifested by the 91-90 mark on the scoreboard.

But then Miami Heat made a big mistake by committing a foul, allowing the Pacers to take two separate free throws and ended the series with a final score or 93-90.

One of Miami's big three players, LeBron James seemed to have no luck in that game as he was only able to make 7 points overall. It was Chris Bosh who gave Miami with a highest point, finishing Game 5 with a total of 20 points and 2 assists. Rashard Lewis and Dwayne Wade both have produced 18 points for the Heat.

Indiana Pacers scoring on the other hand, was led by Paul George emerging as the highest pointer in Game 5 with 37 points and 2 assists. David West has made 19 points and 2 assists for Pacers in this ball game.

On Saturday, Game 6 of the Indiana and Miami semi-final series will be held at the American Airlines Arena, Miami, Florida while Game 5 of Spurs and OCT will be this Friday, 9:00AM, at the AT&T Center, San Antonio, Texas.
