Manny Pacquiao will soon be joining the PBA league -- as coach or player?

Various comments and reactions have flooded the micro-blogging site Twitter following reports on the WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao's most recent plan to enter the Philippine National Basketball Association (PBA) as coach or player of an expansion team of the league.

Prior to this, Pacman has purportedly confirmed some spreading talks of his next anticipated role to play as point guard of one of PBA's expansion teams, Kia Motors. Different reactions then came up, emphasizing various thoughts of how a boxing champ performs in basketball court.

A pertinent comment on Twitter said Pacquiao must have gotten bored with his life the reason why he ended up joining the country's basketball league. Many Twitter users said Pacquiao recent moves is definitely hard to believe whie others even said it's a crazy thing for Manny to join the PBA.

While Pacman's latest announcement earns lots of critics from online users, many fans also feel excited on seeing their idol playing in the basketball court.

Other relevant reports also disclosed that some PBA players are now being warned of fouling the Pinoy ring icon. Many are of course, wanting to see Pacman and Calvin Abueva's face-off. The latter PBA player is known for his physical play in court.

Some are concerned about the possibility of Manny to get bad injuries from his basketball plays by then. And if that happens, his boxing career would be compromised.

Because of this, many are suggesting Pacquiao to just focus on boxing and politics instead of joining the PBA.
