The Philippine team has just triumphed against Chinese-Taipei in their most recent match in the ongoing AFC President's Cup 2014 held at the Panaad Park and Stadium, last night (Thursday), in Bacolod City.

Team Philippines, which is represented by the Ceres-La Salle Football Club has won against Tatung Company of Chinese-Taipei, with a final score of 2-0.

The first goal for Philippines was scored by the forward player number 29, Patrick Alcala Reichelt during the first half of the match. This was followed by another goal from player number 9 Juan Guirado in the remaining four minutes of the 2nd half.

Reichelt and Guirado are both playing for the Philippine Football Team Azkals.

Chinese-Taipei has made several attempts to score but the Pinoy goalkeeper Louie Michael Casas was quick enough to block all their critical shots, preventing the ball from hitting the goal.

Before this triumph, Casas has had regrets on their Tuesday bout against North Korea, which ended up with a draw, 2-2.

The Philippine Team is set to face against the Turkmenistan team in tomorrow's (Saturday) game.

Turkmenistan is the defending champion in the AFC President's Cup 2013.
