The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology's (Phivolcs) seismic network has recorded yet another volcanic tremor from Mayon Volcano or Mt. Mayon, in the past 24 hours.

Aside from the tremor, Phivolcs seismic network also recorded moderate emission of white steam plumes in southeast direction.

Phivolcs however clarified that they haven't spotted any crater glow especially at night.

Alert level 1 is currently tagged on Mayon Volcano, which denotes the volcano is in abnormal condition.

In line with this, Phivolcs strongly forbids anyone from entering the six-kilomter radius permanent danger zone (PDZ) as the agency fears on the possibility of falling rocks, landslides and even sudden phreatic eruption, which according to Phivolcs can occur anytime.

Residents in the area, particularly those dwelling at the foot of Mt. Mayon are also advised not to get near the active stream/river channels, especially when heavy rain pours down.
