One way to conserve your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 battery is by reducing its screen timeout. Follow these steps to adjust the timeout of the device's display:
1. Get to the Home screen and touch Menu to begin with.
2. Touch Settings to proceed.
3. Touch to select Device.
4. Touch Display.
5. Touch Screen timeout and configure the period of time you prefer your device's display to timeout. You may choose the desired delay time from 15 seconds of no activity to 10 minutes of being idle.
